You and your child can enjoy our playspace without having to become a member. Our space is thoughtfully designed for children ages 0 to 8 and their adult caregivers. Each admission includes up to two hours of open play for your child while you lounge in a cozy area! Adults can also enjoy free coffee or tea as well as healthy snacks and beverages for sale!
Walk-ins are welcomed, but reservations are recommended as we cannot accommodate walk-ins when we are at capacity.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Each Open Play session includes full access to our play area, complimentary coffee or tea for parents, and 15 minutes of reading time led by our Bluemont Local team member in our cozy reading nook during each session
One adult caregiver and infant in arms are admitted free of charge when accompanying a paid child. To ensure comfort, we ask that additional adults or +9 year old pay $10 admission. (Max 2 adults per child)
*Weekend we have limited capacity due the birthday parties.

Kids up to 8 years old can explore our incredible and uniquely designed playground full of climbing structures, sensory areas, and slides! They can let their imaginations run wild!

Pretend play areas where kids can stretch their imaginations with a storefront, kitchen, and Alexandria mail room.

Activity tables to spend time working on their hand-eye coordination with a range of materials, including building blocks and magnet tiles.

Story time with one of our team members occurring every session time in our cozy reading corner!

Cozy seating for caregivers with a designated snack area.

Private lactation room, and an area for changing diapers.

Option to book a class with one of our instructors.

Free coffee/tea for parents.
Our play space is designed to provide kids with a range of options to play, learn, and connect!
*One pass is good for one child and one adult. You can either purchase a visit in advance or drop-in for an open play session (capacity restrictions may apply).
Please note: Adult caregivers are responsible for children during Open Play.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR VISIT

Please complete the waiver before entering the play space.

No shoes are allowed in the play space. Parents and children may store their shoes in cubbies located in the lobby. Socks are required for everyone and are available for purchase if you’ve forgotten them at home.

We recommend sanitizing your hands before entering the play space, either with your own hand sanitizer or the hand sanitizer provided, to help us ensure our space stays nice and clean!

No food or drinks are allowed in the play area. (Drinks with lids are permitted for adults.)

Bluemont Local is a peanut and tree nut free facility.

You are responsible for your children and belongings, so please make sure to keep an eye on both at all times!

The space is designed for children ages 0-8 years. We are unable to admit children ages 9 years or older in the play area.
